Toshiki Soejima began his full-fledged artist career with the release of his debut EP Life on March 16, 2021. As a “Neo-Soul guitarist,” he has established a distinctive musical identity through instrumental works characterized by evocative songwriting and expressive guitar tones that vividly conjure visual landscapes and emotions.
Renowned for his live performances, Toshiki has built a strong international audience through his YouTube channel, where his live and performance videos have amassed over 75 million total views. In 2023, he successfully completed his nationwide “True” tour across Japan, performing in major cities from Sapporo to Fukuoka.
In 2024, Toshiki further expanded his global presence. His EPs Tokyo and Moyu, released via German label Stereofox, received airplay on the UK’s BBC. His collaborative EP Carefree with South London producer edbl also gained international recognition. The following year, his album SCENE was released worldwide on both CD and vinyl formats.
As a live artist, Toshiki has performed internationally in countries including Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and China. In Japan, he has sold out headline performances at prestigious venues such as COTTON CLUB, BLUE NOTE TOKYO, and BLUE NOTE PLACE.
Alongside his artist career, Toshiki is also active as an educator. He has published instructional books through Rittor Music and runs one of Japan’s largest online guitar schools, Soul Guitar Lab, where he shares his musical knowledge and performance techniques with guitar enthusiasts around the world.

「Toshiki Soejima」 (ソエジマトシキ)、ソロギタリストとしてEP「Life」を2021年3月16日にリリースしアーティストとしての活動を本格的に開始。「ネオ・ソウル・ギタリスト」として自身の音楽性を示しながら、情景が思い浮かぶようなソングライティングとギターの音色が印象的なインスト・サウンドを中心に作曲、作品を発表し続けている。
ライブパフォーマンスも定評があり、自身のライブ動画等を投稿するYouTubeチャンネルの累計再生数は6,500万回以上を誇る。2023年には札幌から福岡まで全国主要都市を巡るツアー「True」を開催。
2024年には更に活動を拡大。ドイツレーベルStereofoxよりリリースしたEP「Tokyo」「Moyu」が英国BBCにてオンエア、サウスロンドンの気鋭プロデューサーedblと全面タッグを組んだEP「Carefree」が国際的評価を得る。翌2025年にリリースされたアルバム「SCENE」はCD・レコードが全世界で展開。ライブ活動でもこれまでにシンガポール、インドネシア、韓国、中国などでの海外公演を果たす他、国内でもCotton ClubやBlue Note Tokyoでの公演を行う等、活動の幅を広げている。
アーティスト活動の傍ら、リットーミュージックより教則本を出版、国内最大級のオンラインギタースクール「Soul Guitar Lab」を主宰するなど、自らの演奏のスキルを惜しみなくギター愛好家に伝えている。
